Personality: Hasty and determined, she sticks to her guns on every situation even when wrong. She has never been shy, always able to start a conversation beyond asking about the weather. While a bit loud and obnoxious at times, there is always the slightest hint of motherly affection. Still sending money home to her mother, it's not beyond her to buy gifts for folks even though she can't afford it. She has always been a little sexist towards men which she cannot seem to come to terms with. Generally she is accepting of all backgrounds her words can come out quite rude without intending to do so.

History: Born in the month of feasting, Sawyer had a rough start but one that was all too common in her small hometown. She had a politician for a father and a waitress for a mother. But Sawyer has never spoken a word to her father. She has seen his pictures, knew his name, and reaped the benefits of child support. All was well though. Having a single mother had its equal share of ups and downs, and Sawyer always finds a way to turn her faults into positives. Without constant supervision she grew independent. In a low income household, she grew a solid work ethic.

For her sixteenth birthday Sawyer got a working permit and began as a busser for the same truck stop her mother worked at. In no time she was working hard enough to become a waitress. She adored her job, growing up in a small town you always talked to the same folks day after day, but here Sawyer got a taste of what it was like from places she's never even heard of. As she heard more and more stories, it became difficult for her to let the guests eat in peace! She felt the need to share all the crazy things she's heard in hopes for an exchange of new, equally crazy tales.

As a legal adult and school behind her, Sawyer took on a night job, collecting as many hours as she could get her hands on. She even tried to get a third job at a fastfood chain but it didn't work out well for her. She didn't even have plans for her future, she just knew she needed to work hard so she and her mother could live the good life. Maybe open her own diner! Maybe live in a house! Maybe buy her mother a car! Who knows exactly.

More years passed. Money came and went through her fingers. By the age of 22 she managed to move into her own trailer, bought her own car, rescued a stray with poor health, and even took a few road trips! But It became hard to save up money. Bill, bills, bills......while she could keep up with them there was never any left over to be saved. Sawyer grew weary, her conversations with eccentric strangers were no longer cheerful and full of excitement. She had to do more! But she just couldn't figure it out, there were no better jobs in town and having a third one would permit her any sleep.

Then came along the man that would change her life. Working her night shift, a lawyer came into town, one of the cleanest looking men she had ever met. It was all too easy to let the same old small town hick of a man to pass on by in her life. This man was different. This man dressed nice. This man had expendable money. This man had her wrapped around his finger.

"Hey doll, are you an actress? You are simply stunning!" Oh she adored all of his compliments. After a week of being in town she had learned he was here to work on a case. And not surprising at all she knew all about the folks involved. Sure all she did was gossip but when you hear news from different sources it had to hold some truth, right? "Wow, you know so much! Are you the local reporter?" Diligently she put on her old cheerful self and got back into the swing of gossiping, finding out more and more details for this man! "Keep this up and we'll just have to hire you as an investigator at the office!"

The unknowingly false hope consumed her. The charm she had never known consumed her. She saw him everyday he was in their small town. They way he spoke to her made her think she was going along with him. She is pretty! She is a great story teller! She needs a career! On her calendar was marked the day he was leaving. Her bags were packed. She had already put in her two weeks at her two jobs, she was prepared to leave this horrid town full of dead dreams. She deserved better. The day came and she made her way over to the motel for the last time. He wasn't there. He left a day early without a word to Sawyer.

The man came along and shattered her world. She revoked her requests to quit her two jobs, but filled with rage and determination she finally had a plan. A third job she picked up was working for the county paper. She saved time by getting all her stories at the diner. Through this she got the opportunity to make reports on local radio stations. But she never broke into the world of television due to her lack of degree.

"Well that's fine! I'll go start my own station! Report my own news! I don't need help from anyone anymore! Never ever again!"
